Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist | Technical Location : Maplewood, MN - Hybrid (4 days onsite) Job Type : Contract (6 Months) Compensation : $35.00-40.00/hr Industry: Manufacturing About The Role Our client, a global leader in innovation across manufacturing, technology, and advanced materials, is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support strategic hiring initiatives across North America. This role will partner closely with business leaders to build strong talent pipelines, particularly for specialized and hard-to-fill roles within IT and Research & Development. The ideal candidate brings a proactive, data-driven approach to recruiting, along with strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Job Description In this role, you will act as a highly strategic recruiting partner responsible for driving full-cycle talent acquisition efforts across a diverse set of functions. You will play a key role in shaping hiring strategies by leveraging market insights, building strong talent pipelines, and collaborating closely with business leaders to meet evolving workforce needs. This position requires a proactive, consultative approach, along with the ability to balance multiple priorities while delivering a high-quality candidate experience.
- Build and maintain strong external talent networks across the U.S. and Canada to attract high-quality candidates and develop pipelines for niche and hard-to-fill roles
- Serve as a strategic Talent Acquisition partner, collaborating with hiring managers and business leaders across multiple functions, including IT and Research & Development
- Utilize recruiting tools and technologies such as applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn, resume databases, Boolean search techniques, and job boards to identify and engage top talent
- Conduct proactive market research and develop innovative sourcing strategies to strengthen talent pipelines and enhance recruiting effectiveness
- Provide market insights, talent trends, and competitive intelligence to inform hiring strategies and decision-making
- Lead talent pooling, market mapping, and competitor analysis initiatives to support workforce planning and targeted recruiting efforts
- Manage multiple requisitions across various business groups and functions simultaneously while maintaining a high level of organization and communication
- Support additional recruiting-related projects and initiatives as needed
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution (completed prior to start)
- Minimum of five (5) years of full-cycle recruiting and sourcing experience, including recruiting for IT roles
- Experience using Workday or a similar applicant tracking system
- Strong understanding of technical roles and technologies, including areas such as software development, cybersecurity, data, and analytics
- Experience using recruiting data, analytics, and metrics to drive decision-making and improve outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and provide consultative recruiting support
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving, and ambiguous environment
- Strong project management, organization, and collaboration skills
- Experience recruiting across multiple business functions and departments simultaneously
- Proven ability to build and execute innovative sourcing strategies
- Strong curiosity, initiative, and continuous improvement mindset
- Experience conducting market mapping and competitive talent analysis
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across all levels of an organization
