Operations Coordinator

Job post summary Operations Coordinator provides support within the organization and their region, including a wide variety of administrative functions such as: staffing, invoicing, data entry, communications, scheduling, andother duties as assigned. This role requires a collaborative approach with excellent communication skills, who can develop and maintain strong relationships through all interactions.Shift: 8am - 5pm Days: M-F Location: Burlington VT Office Setting Pay: $23/hr. - $25/hr. Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:Assist direct supervisor and others with coordination and day-to-day management of business and operational activitiesPost jobs, review applicants, and schedule interviews for potential candidatesConduct or assist with interviewsBe the liaison between employees and the management team to ensure a smooth onboarding processTrack levels of supplies and equipment to determine shortagesDocument and track deliveries and shipments to update inventory as neededEnsure compliance with company standards and procedures by maintaining clear and accurate documentationMaintain company standards and programs for safety and securityMaintain productivity levels at or above company standards with minimal supervisionTreat all co-workers with fairness, dignity, and respectMaintain good communication with your supervisor and other employeesProvide outstanding customer serviceCommunicate any needed supplies, repairs, safety concerns, and/or maintenance work needed to your supervisorMaintain the quality of performance of all specific duties and responsibilities assignedPerform all other duties as assignedQualifications:Previous experience in a similar field or related industry such as office management or administrationAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedural manualsAbility to interpret a variety of instructions or documents furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule formAssociate's degree in business administration or equivalent work experience preferredExceptional organization and time-management skillsComputer literacy and proficiency in various computer programs including Microsoft Suite applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)Valid driver's license with positive abstractPhysical Requirements:Ability to work effectively in a stationary position when completing required office work.Ability to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery.Ability to position self to reach areas both below waist level to the floor and above their headAbility to effectively communicate with management and coworkersAbility to handle exposure to cleaning chemicals, dust, and other potential irritantsMust meet minimum age requirementsBehavioral Requirements:Attention to Detail: Thorough in completing tasks to ensure cleanliness and hygieneDependability: Reliable and punctual, able to complete tasks with minimal supervisionIntegrity: Honest and ethical, particularly in handling company property and equipment as well as clocking time accuratelyFlexibility: Willing to adapt to changing tasks and schedulesCommunication Skills: Able to follow written and verbal instructions and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
