Diverse Staffing is hiring a Night Shift Warehouse Order Selector for a leading distribution facility in Indianapolis, IN. If you enjoy active, physical work and want a consistent schedule with the opportunity to earn overtime, this could be a great fit.

What You'll Do

Use a Walkie Rider/Electric Pallet Jack to select customer orders for outbound shipment
Operate an electric pallet jack (Walkie Rider) safely and efficiently throughout the shift
Repeatedly lift 35-50 lb. cases and place them onto pallets in the correct delivery sequence
Read pick labels and verify product numbers and quantities for accuracy
Build and organize pallets for outbound shipping while maintaining quality standards
Report product damage, complete cleanup duties, and assist with end-of-shift housekeeping responsibilities

Must-Have Requirements

Previous warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or order selecting experience
Prior experience operating an electric pallet jack or Walkie Rider
Experience using RF scanners or warehouse management systems
Ability to lift 35-50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, twist, and perform physical warehouse work for 10+ hours
Ability to safely operate an electric pallet jack/Walkie Rider or learn quickly in a warehouse environment
Basic math skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and maintain productivity standards
Ability to pass required pre-employment screenings

Work Environment

Fast-paced warehouse environment
Frequent walking and standing throughout the shift
Repetitive lifting, bending, reaching, and twisting
Productivity and accuracy standards must be maintained
Safety policies must be followed at all times
Cell phones permitted only during designated break periods
