How you'll make an impact in this role

• Gather critical patient data, including history of current illness, chief complaints, and key symptoms.
• Cross-train to provide competent clinical coverage in both the Coumadin and cardiology clinics as needed.
• Review patient charts and medications to provide concise clinical briefings to providers.
• Act as the primary operational liaison between the call center and the nursing staff.
• Triage urgent patient needs and critical results, collaborating across the medical team to coordinate timely care.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

What additional preferences we're seeking

• Must have 3 to 5 years of RN experience in Cardio, ER, Critical Care or Tele.
• Prior Triage experience.
