PIV starts
TNK/TPA administration
Conscious sedation
Triage experience


Description:
The Emergency Department is seeking a Registered Nurse.
The facility has 207 licensed beds and holds a Chest Pain Center and Stroke Center designation.
Patients may present with diagnoses including Stroke, Congestive Heart Failure, Electrolyte imbalance, Arrhythmias, Respiratory arrest, Sepsis, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, Falls, and Motor Vehicle Crashes.
Patient ratios are RN: 1:3-4 and CNA: 1:8-10.
Support within the department includes CNAs, receptionists, and charge nurses.
There are resources available such as a phlebotomy team and IV/VAT team during certain hours.
The RN will utilize technology and equipment including EMR systems, IV pumps, and telemetry monitoring.
Floating to other facilities may be required based on regional needs, aligning with scope of practice.
Weekends will be rotated every other week, and travelers are expected to work 75% of holidays.
Approval for time off is available, but must comply with contract hours.
Scrub color is navy.
