Travel Surgery Trauma Registered Nurse - $1,748 per week

Job Overview Travel RN Med Surg position in Atlanta, Georgia. 13‑week assignment starting 07/06/2026, 36 hours per week spread over 12‑hour night shifts with a 3‑day rotation. Travel nurse required. Job Description As a Registered Nurse in a high‑acuity surgical trauma unit, you will deliver high‑quality patient care, manage complex cases including gunshot wounds, quadriplegia, and paraplegia, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and maintain patient safety and comfort during recovery. Responsibilities Provide nursing care to patients in a surgical trauma unit. Monitor and assess patient conditions and vital signs. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Participate in patient handoffs and communicate effectively with team members. Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures. Required Experience & Qualifications Minimum of 2 years experience in surgical trauma nursing. BLS certification required; ACLS preferred. Experience with EPIC electronic health records is mandatory. Valid RN license in the state of Georgia. Patient Population Patients recovering from surgical procedures, including gunshot injuries, quadriplegia, and paraplegia.
