Controls Engineer

A bit about us:

Our client is an established Tulsa-based manufacturer of industrial process equipment. They are looking for an experienced Electrical / Controls Engineer to support the design, development, testing, and commissioning of electrical and automated control systems.

Develop electrical schematics, control-panel layouts, wiring diagrams, and I/O documentation
Program and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLCs
Develop and support HMI/SCADA systems

Interpret P&IDs and translate process requirements into control strategies
Support FAT, commissioning, startup, and field troubleshooting
Work with manufacturing, project engineering, customers, and field personnel
Assist with equipment testing, documentation, and controls standards

Job Details

5+ years of electrical controls, automation, instrumentation, or industrial engineering experience
Hands-on PLC programming experience
Allen-Bradley / ControlLogix / Studio 5000 experience preferred
Ability to read electrical schematics and P&IDs
Experience with industrial control panels and instrumentation
Experience with equipment testing, commissioning, or startup
Industrial manufacturing, process equipment, or similar experience preferred

Bonus: Burner/combustion, boiler, process heating, BMS, or other industrial process-control experience.
