Telemetry Nurse (RN) - Neuro/PCU

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift: 4x12 hours (07:00 - 19:00) or 3x12 hours. Weekend requirement: Every other weekend.

Job Description

The Telemetry Nurse (RN) will provide high-quality care for patients in the Neuro/PCU setting. Responsibilities include monitoring patients, administering medications, and coordinating care with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Neuro/PCU.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to promote optimal patient care.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatment plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of nursing experience in a similar setting.
• Current South Carolina RN license (or Compact license) in hand prior to start.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Telemetry competency is necessary.
