Strategic Services Logistics Coordinator - LTL

Strategic Services Operations Specialist The Strategic Services Operations Specialist will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Less Than Truckload (LTL) operations within their territory, including quoting, routing, and tracking of shipments, while supporting the sales team to close new business. The role reports to the Strategic Sales Manager – LTL. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Clear understanding of IEL’s sales process and regulations for Less Than Truckload freight. Collaborate with the Strategic Sales Manager to support the department’s strategic vision. Respond to customer inquiries and concerns in a timely manner. Coordinate with internal departments to deliver cohesive service and grow sales. Demonstrate subject matter knowledge of all solutions provided by the company in customer interactions. Conduct check calls on all shipments and update internal and external systems accurately. Build partnerships with LTL carriers, including negotiations of W&I’s, claims, and support initiatives. Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Basic (Required) 2 years of transportation operations experience. 2+ years of demonstrated customer service experience. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to facilitate training and present to peers and groups. Ability to handle ambiguity and pivot plans as needed. Willingness to collaborate with the team and share ideas. Preferred Direct experience with Less Than Truckload operations or sales. Experience with LTL, FTL, international, or warehousing logistics.
