Medical assistant

We are seeking a dependable and compassionate healthcare professional to support both patients and clinical staff in a fast‑paced medical environment. This role plays an important part in delivering quality patient care, maintaining smooth office operations, and helping ensure a positive experience for every patient. Responsibilities Prepare patients for examinations, procedures, and treatment by gathering basic medical information and vital signs. Assist healthcare providers during patient visits and minor procedures as directed. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic and paper medical records. Support front‑office and back‑office workflows, including scheduling, patient intake, and follow‑up tasks. Prepare exam rooms, clean and restock supplies, and help maintain a safe and organized clinical setting. Collect, label, and process specimens according to established protocols and compliance standards. Communicate respectfully with patients, families, and team members while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality. Perform other related duties as assigned to support the overall success of the practice. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a medical assisting program preferred. Prior experience in a medical office, clinic, or healthcare setting is preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology, patient care basics, and clinical office procedures. Strong communication, organization, and time management skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Comfort using computers, electronic health records, and standard office software.
