Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse Nashville, Tennessee. This position involves providing specialized surgical nursing care in a busy hospital setting, supporting a variety of case types excluding cardiac transplant and neuro trauma. The role requires flexible days shifts and the ability to float within the OR department, with an emphasis on patient safety and procedural efficiency.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Tennessee RN license, minimum of 2 years OR experience, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, and an active OR certification
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult patient populations, proficiency in a variety of surgical procedures including neuro, trauma, ortho, GYN, urology, ENT, plastics, cardiothoracic, vascular, transplant, robotic, hybrid rooms, ambulatory ortho, burn, and hepatic-biliary
• Additional Information: Orientation begins on 08/10/2026, with multiple orientation dates. Orientation is scheduled for 8/10, 8/17, 8/24, and 8/31. The position includes no call and no weekend work. Travelers will be expected to take four late stays during a 13-week contract, which may extend stay times by approximately one hour during peak periods, especially in summer and December. The role involves a variety of surgical cases with no location-specific float requirements.
