Virginia Licensed Health Information Instructor, responsible for teaching Health Information Management courses in a part-time capacity, either online or in-person, while providing student feedback and fostering a supportive learning environment. Key Responsibilities Create and maintain a learning environment that promotes student knowledge acquisition Align course activities with learning outcomes and provide timely feedback to students Conduct assessments of student learning and hold office hours for student engagement Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or an Associate of Applied Science with national certification and two years of relevant experience Master's degree in a related field and credentialed RHIT or CHPS preferred Five years of recent experience in the health information management field Two years of teaching experience in didactic or clinical settings Proficiency in technology and learning management systems like CANVAS
