Apparel Heat Transfer Production TechnicianWhat a typical day looks like

You start by reviewing the production board, staging garments and transfers, and dialing in your press for the day’s mix of fabrics. You verify temperature, pressure, and dwell time, run a quick test, and then move into steady production—aligning left-chest logos, full-front graphics, names, and numbers with exact placement. Throughout the shift, you inspect every piece, correct anything that’s off, keep materials in order, and own each job from setup through final pack-out.

Core responsibilities

• Set up and run heat press equipment for decorated apparel and products
• Stage and prep garments, transfers, and materials according to job tickets
• Apply logos, names, numbers, and other graphics with precise placement
• Follow production specs and order instructions without missing details
• Control placement, alignment, temperature, pressure, and timing for every press
• Inspect finished goods to ensure consistency and quality
• Troubleshoot and correct production or quality issues as they arise
• Keep your workstation clean, organized, and production-ready
• Maintain order accuracy by organizing materials throughout the process
• Work efficiently while protecting quality at each step
• Take full ownership of assigned jobs from setup through completion

What you’ll bring

• Previous heat press or apparel decoration experience preferred
• Confidence operating heat press equipment independently
• Exceptional attention to detail and a meticulous mindset
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Self-starter who stays productive with minimal supervision

• Ability to sustain quality while maintaining production pace
• Comfort working in a close-knit, family-oriented environment

Compensation & Schedule

$17.00–$20.00 per hour, based on experience.

Part-time or full-time opportunities are available.
