We serve a diverse customer base across North America and continue to grow by fostering a collaborative, entrepreneurial, and fast-paced environment.We are currently seeking a skilled and well-rounded Industrial Refrigeration / HVAC Technician to join our team at our Hicksville, NY facility. This is a great opportunity for an experienced technician to support critical systems and contribute to the success of our manufacturing operations.Key Responsibilities:Maintain and repair HVAC, refrigeration, and boiler systems across our facilitiesTroubleshoot issues involving walk-in coolers/freezers, cooling tunnels, boilers, and related equipmentPerform preventive maintenance to ensure operational readinessRespond promptly to work orders and service callsInstall, test, and repair HVAC-related systems and componentsTrack work completed, time, and materials; assist in SOP creation for recurring maintenance tasksInterpret blueprints and ensure proper tools and materials are available for assigned tasksQualifications:EPA 608 Universal Certification (required)Minimum 5 years of commercial or industrial HVAC experience (10+ years preferred)Strong electrical troubleshooting and repair skillsExperience in a food manufacturing or industrial facility is preferredKnowledge of desiccant dehumidifiers and familiarity with CMMSProficient with Microsoft Word and ExcelAbility to work independently and prioritize tasksWillingness to work overtime as neededWhat We Offer:Medical, Dental, Vision, AFLAC & Pet Insurance401(k) Retirement PlanPaid Time Off, Holidays, and VacationCompetitive Salary with Annual Performance ReviewsEmployee DiscountsSupportive, entrepreneurial work cultureExcellent opportunity to join a well-established and thriving Long Island company!Nassau Candy is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
