Non-Malignant (Classical) Hematology - Leadership Position in Hemostasis and Thrombosis

Overview The Division of Hematology and Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the University of California San Francisco is seeking a faculty member to join our federally funded hemophilia treatment center within our section of non‑malignant (classical) hematology. The applicant will serve as Assistant Medical Director and is expected to have substantial experience in hemostasis (bleeding disorders), with extensive thrombosis experience a plus. A track record in clinical or basic research in hemostasis or thrombosis is particularly encouraged. Responsibilities The faculty member will participate in the teaching and training of Hematology and Oncology fellows, residents, and medical students, contribute to the division's annual retreat, attend the inpatient hematology consult service, and work in the outpatient non‑malignant (classical) hematology clinic. Qualifications Candidates must be ABIM eligible or certified in Hematology and possess substantial experience in hemostasis (bleeding disorders). Experience in thrombosis and a record of research in hemostasis or thrombosis are desirable. Benefits & Compensation Rank and compensation will be commensurate with experience. The minimum base salary range for this position is $127,000–$333,700, and the position includes membership in the Health Sciences Compensation Plan, providing eligibility for additional compensation.
