Commercial Construction Operations Manager

Location: Ridgeland, SC

Employment type: Full-time, W-2 employee

Compensation: $70,000-$85,000 annually, based on experience

Premier Exteriors is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Operations Manager to oversee project operations, support field teams, manage budgets, and help deliver high-quality construction projects on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Lead team meetings to support communication, planning, and problem resolution
• Communicate consistently with customers, superintendents, vendors, and subcontractors
• Help ensure jobs are completed on schedule and within budget
• Manage job costing, labor budgeting, and forecasting
• Participate in pre-construction meetings to support planning and preparation
• Review project scopes, exclusions, change orders, costs, and pricing
• Conduct field walks to help ensure quality and safety standards are met
• Support superintendents with accounting, documentation, and monthly billing
• Help resolve project issues with customers, superintendents, vendors, and subcontractors
• Maintain knowledge of company installation requirements and project standards

Qualifications

• Commercial construction operations or project management experience preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills
• Ability to manage schedules, priorities, and daily project needs
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to travel between the office, job sites, and vendors
• Regular travel territory includes Beaufort, SC to Savannah, GA, with occasional travel to Charleston, SC
• Ability to pick up and haul materials using a truck and/or company trailer as needed
• Ability to lift and carry up to 85 lbs as needed, with or without reasonable accommodation

Compensation and Benefits

• $70,000-$85,000 annual salary, based on experience
• $600 monthly truck reimbursement
• Quarterly performance-based bonus opportunity based on job performance and profitability
