As a Manufacturing Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing packaging and manufacturing operations, ensuring product quality, and maintaining cGMP standards. This is a dynamic opportunity where your leadership and technical expertise will directly impact the company's ability to deliver safe and effective wellness products to consumers. Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate workflow within Packaging and Manufacturing departments. Prepare work schedules, assign tasks, and oversee progress to ensure timely completion of orders. Train employees on equipment operation and quality control procedures, maintaining high productivity and product quality. Monitor and enforce quality control, NSF, and cGMP policies throughout production processes. Conduct employee evaluations, issue corrective actions, and foster a positive work environment. Collaborate with Purchasing, Receiving, and Shipping departments to manage workflow and control backorders. Troubleshoot, set up, and maintain manufacturing equipment, working with Maintenance as needed. Actively participate on the Sanitation Team and maintain professional relationships across departments. Must-Have Skills: 3-5 years experience in a management or leadership capacity within manufacturing. Deep knowledge of cGMP, quality control, and NSF procedures applicable to supplement and vitamin manufacturing. Strong employee training and team building skills. Excellent communication abilities and experience prioritizing multiple tasks. Ability to learn and operate manufacturing equipment such as blenders and capsule fillers. Must be willing to work some 12 hour shifts in our 24/7 manufacturing facility. Nice-to-Have Skills: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Familiar with packaging equipment. Mechanical background and strong troubleshooting capabilities. Experience with Patterson-Kelley Blender, Basch Capsule Fillers, counting scales, and Mozart systems. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general office equipment.
