Part-Time Weekend Stocker II- Forklift Driver

Kimball Midwest, a national distributor of maintenance, repair, and operation products, is searching for a Part-Time Weekend Stocker II- Forklift Driver for our Columbus, OH location.

Responsibilities

• Delivers heavy duty items to the correct assigned primary location using a forklift
• Monitors and delivers incomplete orders to the outbound or assortment consolidation areas
• Monitors and transfers all items from the packing department to a stocking cart in a timely fashion so the belt doesn't back up
• Utilizes and analyzes department Korber dashboard to check role priorities
• Guarantees that all pallets are correct before and after working on them
• Consolidates and returns all overflow skids to bulk storage
• Reports any issues or mispacked items to the Lead Stocker or DC Manager

Qualifications

• Ability to lift objects weighing 50 pounds
• Forklift experience
• Ability to interact with robots to perform daily tasks
• Ability to walk and stand on concrete floors for long period of time
• Ability to frequently bend, side bend, and twist the back
• Ability to do occasional neck flexions and twisting while sitting, standing, or squatting
• Ability to read and write small letters and numbers; the ability to make arithmetic calculations; and the ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions
• The successful completion of a ninety (90) day orientation period

This position starts at $22.89 per hour

The hours are Saturday and Sunday, 6:00am-6:30pm
