Commercial Loan Documentation and Reporting Specialist

Job DescriptionPOSITION PURPOSE: Responsible for identification and reporting of commercial loan compliance exceptions, as well as documentation exceptions, including communication and reporting of errors, and assisting department management with identification and development of training of lending personnel to address any needs noted. Responsible for validation of trailing documents to ensure accuracy and compliance of those documents. Responsible for filing UCC and vehicle liens in all 50 states to perfect collateral position. Responsible for insurance tracking in compliance with the Central Bank Loan Policy. Responsible for the accurate and timely QC of HMDA & CRA and any other compliance reporting as needed. Responsible for management reporting and timely review of various system and production reports. Responsible for administering Central Bank of Boone County’s loan document retention and destruction program. Responsible for compliance with all banking regulations which are applicable to the job, including Bank Secrecy Act and information security initiatives. DUTIES, SCOPE, RESPONSIBLIITIES & AUTHORITY: Responsible for compliance with all banking regulations which are applicable to the job, including Bank Secrecy Act and information security initiatives. Responsible for advising Credit Administration department management of any pattern of compliance issues identified during the course of daily work. Must establish and maintain highly effective communication with lending division personnel, in particular loan officers and support staff. Is expected to develop and maintain the ability to act as a resource to others in the department. Works closely with the Manager, Credit Administration in developing compliance processes and procedures, and communicating any such changes to other lending or bank personnel as required. Works with a high degree of independence in administering compliance oversight for the consumer and commercial loan function. Job RequirementsMust obtain and maintain a complete understanding of state and federal regulations impacting the bank lending function. Excellent communication skills are required. Must be able to work well with minimal supervision, have high attention to detail, and assist in development of policies and procedures.
