Penner's Tire Pros in York, NE is looking for a motivated and organized Office Manager to keep our shop running smoothly behind the scenes. This is a key role at the heart of our operation — supporting our team, serving our customers, and keeping everything on track. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and love bringing order to a busy workplace, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day office operations and administrative functions for the shop
- Manage customer billing, invoicing, and payment processing
- Handle scheduling, appointments, and service workflow coordination
- Maintain accurate records including accounts payable/receivable and financial reporting
- Support front-of-house customer service and resolve customer inquiries professionally
- Manage vendor relationships, parts ordering, and inventory tracking
- Assist with payroll processing and employee recordkeeping
- Prior experience in office management, bookkeeping, or administrative leadership
- Proficiency in accounting or shop management software (QuickBooks experience a plus)
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Customer-focused attitude with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy automotive or service environment
- Experience in the automotive or tire industry is a plus but not required
- Dependable, trustworthy, and a collaborative team player
