Travel Perioperative / PACU RN | Pagosa Springs, CO
13 Weeks | Days | Flexible 8 or 10-Hour Shifts

We are seeking an experienced Perioperative / PACU Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive perioperative care while working alongside a collaborative surgical team in a scenic Colorado mountain community.

Requirements:
Active Colorado RN License
Current AHA BLS Certification
Current ACLS Certification
Current PALS Certification
CNOR Certification
Minimum 3 years of Perioperative/PACU RN experience
Cerner EMR experience required
Experience with Gastroenterology/Endoscopy
Experience in Orthopedic, General Surgery, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, ENT, and Interventional Pain Management procedures

Assignment Details:
13-week contract
Day shifts
Schedule consists of either:
Five 8-hour shifts, or
Four 10-hour shifts
Weekday schedule
No holiday coverage required
Cerner EMR
No guaranteed hours

Responsibilities:
Coordinate and deliver safe, high-quality patient care throughout the pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases
Serve as a Circulating Nurse, First Scrub, and/or Second Scrub Nurse based on experience and competency
Monitor and recover patients in the PACU while ensuring optimal patient outcomes
Educate patients and families regarding surgical procedures and recovery expectations
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the multidisciplinary surgical team
Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety and quality standards throughout the perioperative process
