Field Automation Scientist-Midwest (Post Sales)

Field Automation Scientist (FAS) to support workflow automation solutions for Materials Science, Biopharma, Biotech and related R&D labs. Responsible for installing, commissioning, and supporting complex integrated lab automation systems while training and partnering closely with customers. The position focuses on enabling high-throughput experimentation workflows, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and acting as a customer advocate through both on‑site and remote support, with travel around 50%. Fine salary (circa $140K), bonus, car allowance and health benefits. Key qualifications include: a bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (Chemistry related and graduate degree preferred) , hands‑on applications/service/technical support experience with complex lab automation systems, and proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Python.
