Environmental Scientist

Environmental Scientist Location: Lisle, IL What You’ll Do Performing field investigations to delineate and map wetlands, perform environmental compliance inspections, describe habitat, and report environmental conditions to design engineers Researching and completing environmental permitting at the federal, state, and local levels Composition of a variety of regulatory documents including Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans, Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP), and Best Management Practice (BMP) Plans Cultivating strong client relationships Working with project teams, technical staff, and subcontractors What You’ll Need BS (MS preferred) in Environmental Science, Environmental Planning, Natural Resources, or related discipline 0-5 years of environmental related experience, field experience a plus Experience collecting GPS data and creating maps in ArcGIS Pro. Familiarity with federal and state environmental regulations (Clean Water Act, Endangered Species Act, and the National Historic Preservation Act, etc.).
