Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a motivated and detail-oriented Litigation Associate Attorney to join its Columbus, Ohio office. This role focuses on commercial and general liability litigation matters, ideal for an attorney with 4 to 6 years of civil litigation experience ready to manage a diverse caseload independently and contribute to client relationships in a collaborative environment. Duties Independently manage a caseload of business and general liability litigation matters from inception through resolution. Appear regularly in court conferences, arbitrations, mediations, and depositions. Lead all aspects of litigation strategy, including drafting pleadings and motions, and negotiating settlements. Serve as a primary contact for corporate clients and insurers, providing case updates and strategic assessments. Provide sound legal advice and strategic counsel to clients throughout the litigation process. Requirements 4-6 years of experience handling civil litigation matters. Active license in good standing with the Ohio Bar. Demonstrated ability to manage complex litigation matters. Commitment to client service and ethical legal practice. Exceptional attention to detail and strong writing and legal research skills. Entrepreneurial growth mindset for client development and practice management. Education Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Certifications Active license with the Ohio Bar. Skills Strong work ethic and ability to handle high-pressure cases.
