Budget/Fiscal Analyst Sr. This position is located at Stone Bay, Camp Lejeune, NC, in support of the Marine Raider Support Group, Marine Forces Special Operations Command (MARSOC). Role Overview The Budget Analyst assists the MARSOC customer in planning, managing, and executing daily budget operations. The contractor will support a broad range of functions that may include, but not be limited to, support of the Internal Control Program, Internal Control Over Financial Reporting, Financial Evaluations, Assist Visits, Inspections, Audits, and Financial Management Training. The incumbent keeps the supervisor informed of completed work and potential issues impacting budget operations, provides reports, interprets and develops budgetary policies, practices, and procedures to maintain and improve Comptroller financial management operations. The Incumbent supports formulation of the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) and Operations and Maintenance (O&M) budget, fiscal reconciliation and resolution of financial issues and discrepancies, and maintains financial records and ensures Financial Improvement Audit Readiness (FIAR) compliance as required. Key Responsibilities Plan, manage, and execute daily budget operations. Support Internal Control Program and Internal Control Over Financial Reporting. Participate in Financial Evaluations, Assist Visits, Inspections, Audits, and Financial Management Training. Provide reports, interpret and develop budgetary policies, practices, and procedures. Formulate POM and O&M budget; reconcile fiscal issues and discrepancies. Maintain financial records and ensure FIAR compliance. Use USMC financial management and accounting systems (SABRS, DAI, DTS, WAWF). Qualifications High School or GED equivalent with 12 years of relevant, progressive experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Level of training and proficiency equivalent to USMC MOS 3451 Financial Resource Management Analyst or Civil Service equivalent. 12 or more years of experience. Expert proficiency in GCSS-MC and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Knowledge of SharePoint preferred. Active Secret Security Clearance required. Physical Requirements Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods. May require lifting and carrying boxes up to 50 lbs. Must have sufficient mobility for bending, reaching, turning, and kneeling. Other Essential Functions Work inside a large facility; assignments vary by client requirements. Some night and weekend work may be required. Travel may be required. Must exhibit professional behavior promoting teamwork, cooperation, and productivity. Well organized, able to coordinate, prioritize, and execute multiple tasks simultaneously in a high‑pressure environment. Communicate verbally and in writing effectively with government, military, and contractor personnel at all levels. Compensation $26.86 per hour.
