Position Overview

Pusch & Wynne Injury Lawyers is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Case Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior plaintiff-side personal injury case management experience and be comfortable managing a high-volume caseload while providing excellent service and communication to our clients.

This position plays an important role in moving pre-litigation cases forward efficiently, maintaining regular client contact, coordinating medical treatment and records, communicating with insurance companies and providers, and ensuring cases are properly documented and prepared for the next stage of the claim.

Previous personal injury case management experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a high-volume caseload of personal injury matters from intake through the pre-litigation process.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients and provide updates regarding the status and progression of their cases.
• Monitor client medical treatment and follow up regarding treatment progress.
• Request, obtain, review, and organize medical records and billing documentation.
• Communicate with medical providers, insurance adjusters, and other parties involved in the claim.
• Obtain and maintain insurance information, claim information, and necessary case documentation.
• Prepare and send letters of representation and other case-related correspondence.
• Assist with the preparation of demand packages and ensure supporting documentation is complete.
• Track liens, balances, medical expenses, and other case-related information.
• Maintain accurate and detailed case notes, documents, tasks, and deadlines in the firm's case management system.
• Identify outstanding items and proactively follow up to keep cases progressing.
• Work closely with attorneys, supervisors, and other members of the legal team.
• Assist with settlement-related documentation and case transitions as needed.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of client and firm information.
• Perform additional case management duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Prior plaintiff-side personal injury case management experience required.
• Experience managing personal injury cases in a high-volume environment strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of the personal injury pre-litigation process.
• Experience communicating with clients, medical providers, and insurance adjusters.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven legal environment.
• Experience with Filevine or similar legal case management software preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Compensation

• Starting at $26.00 per hour , based on experience.
• Eligible to participate in the firm's Case Incentive Program .
• Full-time position.
• Benefits available in accordance with firm eligibility requirements.

Work Location

This is a full-time, in-office position in Houston, Texas .
