Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Location: Maryville, TN

Job Type: Contract

Shift: 3x12 Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit. The RN will provide high-quality patient care to adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have strong telemetry experience, cardiac monitoring skills, and the ability to care for a wide range of medical and post-procedural patients.

Required Qualifications

• Active Tennessee Registered Nurse (RN) License

• Current BLS Certification

• Current ACLS Certification

• Current NIHSS Certification

• Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical/Telemetry RN experience

• Minimum 1 year of EPIC experience required

• Experience with telemetry monitoring and cardiac patient care

• First-time travelers will be considered based on experience

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care

• Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms

• Administer medications and treatments safely

• Care for patients with complex medical and cardiac conditions

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EPIC

• Float to similar units based on staffing needs and skill set

• Provide patient and family education

• Follow infection control and patient safety protocols
