The Physical Therapist is an integral part the care team that helps change the lives of our patients and residents each day. As a Physical Therapist you are responsible for assessing the need for, developing and delivering physical therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation in an interdisciplinary environment including:

• ·         Developing and implementing individualized therapy programs designed to restore, reinforce and enhance performance
  

• ·         Identifying need for and make referral to other disciplines to address the needs of the patient
  

• ·         Instructing, educating and training patients and caregivers in the essential skills and functions needed to promote patient independence, productivity, and quality of life.

• ·         Supervising Physical Therapist Assistants, provisional licensees, students and support personnel in accordance with state licensure requirements and professional standards

Position Requirements

• Valid physical therapy license in New York of practice, or eligibility to apply

• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program

• Basic computer literacy skills

• Current CPR certification

• Able to wear PPE, including, but not limited to masks, face shields, goggles, gloves, and gowns as mandated.
