HELP OUT: Walk for Wildlife 5K

By participating as a team member for the Walk for Wildlife 5K, volunteers contribute to improving the experience for walkers and runners and help support wildlife conservation efforts along the 52‑mile San Diego River. Opportunity Requirements & Important Notes Key Responsibilities Equipment support and set up Participant check-in Crowd management Tear down Course guides Skills & Qualifications Training Provided: A lead/site supervisor will give you a role breakdown and detailed instructions. Attire: Comfortable clothing for standing and walking in the sun; a free t-shirt will be provided; sun protection recommended. Bring: Water. Physical Requirements: Accommodations available for individuals with physical limitations; check-in volunteers may use a chair; the space is wheelchair accessible. Weather: Light rain will not cancel the event; volunteers will be notified by email if the event is cancelled.
