Responsibilities Inspire confidence in Luma customers and prospects by creating emotional resonance and "Aha" moments in the sales process Persuade and present the art of possible Create the spark, be the change agent in deals by recommending winning solutions Demonstrate with confidence, leverage empathy to create confidence during the deal cycle Build personal rapport with buyers at all levels Have confidence to challenge the status quo and de‑position competitors Engage with healthcare organizations to understand their technical requirements and challenges Provide technical guidance and support to the sales team in understanding and addressing customer needs Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value proposition of our solutions Assist in the development of customized solutions tailored to meet the unique requirements of healthcare clients Collaborate with the product development team to ensure seamless integration of our solutions with existing healthcare systems Work closely with the sales, marketing, and product development teams to ensure a cohesive and effective go‑to‑market strategy Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather feedback and continuously improve our offerings Qualifications 5+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer in healthcare technology In‑depth knowledge of one or more major EHR systems (Epic, Cerner/Oracle Health, athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, MEDITECH) including integration architecture, not just workflow familiarity Proven experience with patient access and engagement workflows including scheduling, intake, referral management, and patient communication platforms Solid understanding of Revenue Cycle Management concepts such as eligibility verification, prior authorization, referral workflows, and billing processes Comfortable discussing API and integration concepts such as HL7, FHIR, and webhooks with both technical and non‑technical audiences Experience responding to RFPs and RFIs independently Strong discovery skills with the ability to map current‑state workflows and connect pain points to product value Excellent presentation and demo delivery skills across clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders Actively uses AI tools to drive personal productivity and find efficiencies in day‑to‑day work Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Previous experience in a startup or high‑growth SaaS environment preferred Familiarity with AI‑powered voice and messaging products, workflow automation tools, and patient engagement platforms with the ability to demo and position these solutions within complex healthcare organizations is a plus Benefits Competitive health benefits: Luma Health covers 99% of the employee and 85% of the dependent premium costs Work‑life balance Flexible time off Wellness programs Discounted perks 401(k) and company equity Pay Transparency Notice Base Pay Range: $120,000—$140,000 USD Equal Opportunity Employment Luma Health is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and affirmative action employer.
