Acute Care Occupational Therapist - Day Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 5x8 hours (08:00 - 17:00).

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist for an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in evaluating and implementing treatment plans for patients with various conditions. You will work collaboratively with a team to ensure optimal patient care within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans
Provide therapeutic interventions to enhance patients' functional abilities
Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
Educate patients and families on therapy processes and home exercise programs

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 1 year experience in an acute care setting
Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the relevant state
BLS certification required
NBCOT certification preferred
