Trillium Professional is hiring for a CNC Lathe Machinist/Programmer in the greater Wilmington Area, NC (On-site)!

Pay rate is $26.00 – $40.00/hour (Based on Experience). Schedule is working full-time, consistent 40–50 hour weeks with overtime available.

As a CNC Lathe Machinist/Programmer, you will be a key player in bringing complex precision parts to life. You will be responsible for the setup, programming, and operation of advanced lathe machines, ensuring every component meets exact print specifications and tight tolerances.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program, set up, and operate a variety of CNC lathe machines.
• Create and adjust programs (G-code) to monitor tool wear and optimize efficiency.
• Verify dimensions and part conformance using high-end precision measuring instruments.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job travelers.
• Load and indicate parts to fixtures with extreme precision.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure consistent quality and output.

State-of-the-Art Facility:

• Turning Centers: Multi-axis centers with live tooling, sub-spindles, twin turrets, and automated bar feeders.
• Large & Small Capacity: Equipment ranging from high-capacity chucking to precision micro-machining.
• Milling & Support: Vertical and horizontal 4 & 5-axis mills, automated laser systems, and high-spec fabrication equipment.
• Quality Lab: A climate-controlled QC environment featuring DCC CMMs, optical comparators, and a full suite of thread/bore gaging.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience: 3–5 years of professional CNC lathe machining experience.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in G-code programming and independent machine setup.
• Blueprint Literacy: Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T.
• Reliability: Availability for overtime or occasional Saturdays as production needs arise.
