Staff Accountant

Job Description Job Description JOB SUMMARY The Staff Accountant will prepare and maintain financial records to track the organization's assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, and other related financial activities. Must have experience in a manufacturing environment. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE * Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field. * 3+ years of accounting experience * Understanding of US GAAP and statutory accounting concepts and principles * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP * Experience with month-end close processed, journal entries and financial statement preparation * Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with other departments. QUALIFICATIONS The incumbent MUST be able to: * Perform all tasks associated with the general ledger, i.e., enter monthly general ledger, execute monthly closing entries and expense accruals. * Review payroll and benefit
