2026-2027 Professional-Track Faculty Pool – Department of Communication Studies College/School/Unit: Moody College of Communication Department: Department of Communication Studies Posted: Mar 1, 2026 | Apply By: Open until filled Description The Department of Communication Studies periodically hires temporary professional-track faculty to teach graduate or undergraduate courses in the areas of Interpersonal Communication, Rhetoric, Language and Political Studies, or Organizational Communication and Technology. The exact teaching duties will depend on the interests and capabilities of the individual and departmental instructional needs. Positions are not available every semester and are contingent upon student enrollment and the availability of funding. Department of Communication Studies website: Moody College of Communication website: Qualifications Candidates should hold a graduate degree in a field that is relevant to their area of instruction. A Ph.D. and prior teaching experience is preferred. Demonstrated teaching excellence at the college level is preferred. Applicants must be qualified to work in the United States and have a strong command of written and spoken English.
