Now hiring: Material Handler Location: Alabaster, AL Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour First Shift: 5 AM-1 PM Material Handlers Wanted: Stack Fast. Earn Steady. Requirements and Job Duties: Transport raw materials, components, and finished goods throughout the facility to support production operations. Supply production lines with materials to ensure a continuous workflow and minimize downtime. Load, unload, and stage materials from incoming and outgoing trucks safely and efficiently. Verify materials and quantities against shipping and receiving documentation for accuracy. Perform inventory transactions and maintain accurate records using RF scanners and inventory management systems. Organize and stage materials in designated warehouse and production areas. Conduct routine inspections of materials and report discrepancies, damage, or quality concerns. Follow FIFO (First-In, First-Out) inventory practices when applicable. Maintain a clean, organized work environment in accordance with 5S and safety standards. Support general warehouse, shipping, and receiving functions as needed. Follow all company safety policies, quality standards, and operational procedures. Previous experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or material handling preferred. Forklift experience is a plus, but not required. Basic computer skills and familiarity with RF scanners preferred.
