If you aspire to be the best, and work with the best, this is where you belong. About The Role The Strategic Advisory and Financial Analyst is an integral part of Latham’s Global Finance team. This role will be responsible for providing financial and analytical support for the firm, preparing recurring and ad-hoc financial analysis and reports related to client statistics and firm financial metrics. The role will be located in our Global Services office in Downtown Los Angeles. This role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in‑office presence. Responsibilities & Qualifications Creating analyses and responding to requests by applying financial and analytical skills. Using data mining and database mechanisms to obtain data and organizing the information to facilitate effective analysis and creating analytical reports. Utilizing database mechanisms and Microsoft Access to develop and improve reporting processes. Maintaining detailed records documenting procedures, assumptions, methodologies, and sources of information employed during analytical tasks. Making recommendations and working with management to develop procedures, processes, and workflow to ensure maximum efficiency in the FIC department. Protecting and maintaining highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains. Exhibit the ability to take initiative and work both independently and in a team environment with a customer‑service focus. Demonstrate organizational skills to manage time well, prioritize effectively, and handle multiple deadlines. And have: A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, economics, or a related field.
