Counsel

For our client, we are seeking a Counsel to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This attorney will support a fast-paced legal function focused on commercial contracting and practical business guidance. The role will partner closely with internal stakeholders to review terms, manage routine agreements, and help identify risk while keeping deals moving efficiently. Success in this position will require strong judgment, clear communication, and the ability to balance legal protection with business needs. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000 annually Responsibilities Review, draft, and negotiate a variety of contracts, including master services agreements and NDAs Manage routine contract requests from intake through execution with sound judgment Conduct legal research to support contract positions and identify potential risks Prepare summaries and assessments related to contracts and negotiations Interface with business stakeholders to clarify contract requirements and terms Ensure compliance with company policies and maintain accurate records Qualifications Graduate of an accredited law school and admitted to practice in one or more U.S. jurisdictions 3–5 years of experience in a corporate legal department or law firm focused on contracts Strong legal writing skills with the ability to produce clear contract documents Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple contract matters with minimal oversight Effective communication skills for explaining legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders Proficiency with contract management tools and databases Benefits Opportunity for professional growth within a supportive legal team Access to training programs on contract management and negotiation techniques Flexible work environment conducive to productivity Collaborative culture that values communication across departments Our client is an equal opportunity employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
