Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Access Control Patrol in Boston, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, where you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control activities, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $22.05 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:00 PMThur03:00 PM - 11:00 PMFri03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSat03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate personnel according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, to help identify and report unusual conditions. Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vendor activity in accordance with site-specific access-control procedures. Prepare accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 2 years of security-related experience. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
