Job Description As a Security Officer Acute Care Patrol in Milton, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.32 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeThur11:00 PM - 07:00 AMFri03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and security-related policies within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and urgent situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, escalating concerns and/or requesting assistance when appropriate. Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout buildings, common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity in accordance with site procedures, while documenting observations, reporting incidents, and communicating with site contacts as needed. Support emergency response activities by following post orders, assisting with direction and/or crowd management, and relaying information to appropriate personnel during medical or facility-related events. Minimum Requirements Meet hospital vaccine requirements. Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment. Be able to lift up to 20 lbs, preferred. CPR certification is preferred. CPR/First Aid is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
