Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced, strategic Chief Financial Officer to lead all finance, accounting, treasury, and reporting functions for a dynamic, growth-oriented organization. The CFO will drive financial strategy and execution, strengthen controls and governance, oversee capital structure and liquidity, guide M&A and capital market activities, and partner with the CEO and Board to enable sustainable, value-accretive growth. The ideal candidate combines deep technical accounting and reporting expertise (IFRS, GAAP, SEC reporting) with broad experience in FP&A, treasury, systems implementation, and investor relations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all finance and accounting operations including monthend close, consolidations, financial statement preparation and financial statement analysis in compliance with IFRS/GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
• Own FP&A: develop rolling forecasts, longrange strategic plans, annual budgets, scenario analysis and detailed financial models to support decision making.
• Manage cash flow, treasury operations, banking relationships, debt facilities and working capital to ensure appropriate liquidity and efficient capital allocation.
• Drive capital markets activity including IPO readiness, equity financing, debt financing and investor presentations and manage relationships with investors, rating agencies and investment banks.
• Lead mergers & acquisitions and divestiture activities including due diligence, valuation, deal structuring, integrations and posttransaction performance tracking.
• Design and maintain strong internal controls, SOX compliance, tax compliance and financial policy & governance; lead Audit Management and coordinate external auditors.
• Implement and optimize ERP and financial systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Hyperion, Anaplan, BlackLine) and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) to automate reporting and improve data integrity.
• Oversee transfer pricing, cost accounting, payroll/HRIS oversight and regulatory reporting across jurisdictions as required.
• Develop and monitor KPIs and management reporting for the executive team and Board; prepare board packs, financial presentations and commentary.
• Lead cost control, profitability analysis, P&L management and expense governance initiatives to drive margin improvement and operational efficiency.
• Build, mentor and scale a highperforming finance organization; recruit, develop and retain top finance talent and foster a strong crossfunctional partnership with commercial, operations and HR teams.
• Establish and oversee risk management practices, insurance programs and compliance frameworks to safeguard the company and support strategic objectives.
• Negotiate and manage major vendor, customer and financing contracts and commitments to optimize commercial and financial outcomes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in financial processes, monthend close cycle, and reporting cadence to enhance speed and accuracy of insights.
• Provide strategic counsel to the CEO, senior leadership and Board on business performance, capital allocation, strategic investments and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. CPA, CFA or equivalent professional qualification highly desirable.
• 15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience with a proven track record as a CFO, VP Finance or equivalent in public or highgrowth private companies.
• Handson technical expertise in IFRS and US GAAP and demonstrated experience with SEC reporting and public company disclosure requirements.
• Deep experience leading FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling and strategic planning for multiyear growth plans.
• Proven treasury, working capital and cash flow management experience, including negotiating and managing debt facilities and capital markets transactions (equity/debt/IPO readiness).
• Experience driving M&A activity, conduct of due diligence, valuations and postmerger integrations.
• Strong background in internal controls, SOX compliance, audit management, tax compliance and financial policy development.
• Experience implementing and optimizing ERP and financial systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and performance management tools (Hyperion, Anaplan, BlackLine).
• Advanced Excel skills (including VBA), familiarity with SQL and experience leveraging BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) to generate actionable insights.
• Demonstrated ability to build and lead highperforming teams, develop crossfunctional partnerships and communicate complex financial information clearly to executives, Boards and investors.
• Track record of improving margin, cost control, working capital and P&L performance across functions.
• Experience with transfer pricing, consolidations, monthend close practices and multijurisdictional financial operations.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience managing major commercial and financing contracts.
• High integrity, strong business acumen, strategic orientation, and the ability to operate effectively in fastpaced, ambiguous environments.
