Direct-hire  Engineering Support Specialist role open for an administrator in the  Greenville area with experience supporting engineering and design in a manufacturing environment. This role supports the design engineering team by managing  engineering change requests, ECOs, engineering drawings, BOMs, product submittals, and change orders while maintaining accurate information within  PLM and engineering systems .

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and maintain  Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), BOMs, drawings, and related documentation .
• Coordinate departmental approvals for pending engineering changes and assign numbers for new requests.
• Maintain engineering data and updates within  PLM and other engineering systems .
• Distribute, file, and archive engineering releases and maintain accurate revision records.
• Support updates to new and revised items, drawings, product submittals, and engineering documentation.

Requirements:

• High school diploma plus one-year technical certificate or equivalent experience.
• Experience supporting  engineering, document control, or change management in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with  MS Office ; experience with  PLM systems, BOMs, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD is a plus.
• Basic understanding of engineering processes and  ISO requirements/procedures preferred.
