As a Social Service Director at Belhaven, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our residents receive high-quality, person-centered care. Responsibilities Provide social services to residents, including counseling, care planning, and support to meet their emotional, spiritual, and psychological needs Develop, implement, and maintain individualized care plans that address residents' social, emotional, and psychological needs Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure that residents receive comprehensive and coordinated care Identify and address social, emotional, and psychological issues that may impact a resident's quality of life Provide support and resources to residents' families and caregivers Maintain accurate records and documentation of social services provided to residents Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in social work and gerontology Requirements Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field 2+ years of experience in social work, gerontology, or a related field Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or equivalent Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively with diverse populations Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and other healthcare regulations Certification in gerontology or a related field (desired) Benefits We offer competitive compensation, professional development opportunities, and a supportive work environment.
