Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day and Night Shifts Available (3x12-Hour Shifts) | 7:00–19:30 / 19:00–7:30 | Every Other Weekend Required | Some Holidays Required | No Call

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting across 12-hour day or night shifts
• Operate and manage the NextStage CVVH machine for continuous renal replacement therapy as needed
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, including identification of lethal arrhythmias and heart blocks
• Float to other units as needed based on patient census and staffing requirements
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver high-acuity cardiovascular patient care

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin RN license required
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of two years of acute care inpatient RN experience within the last three years in CVICU or equivalent specialty
• Demonstrated CVICU clinical experience required
• Hands-on experience with the NextStage CVVH machine required
• Basic Arrhythmia experience required; must pass a telemetry examination prior to start (passing score of 80% or higher, with 100% identification of lethal rhythms including ventricular fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, and asystole; no incorrect answers permitted on third-degree heart block questions)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Cardiothoracic Surgery setting
• Experience in an Acuity Adaptable care environment
