Overview
Ensure safety, quality, and appearance of the facility in accordance with the mission, character development and values of the YMCA.

Responsibilities
- Contribute to the overall YMCA mission of healthy living, youth development and social responsibility.
- Greet members, participants, staff and general public in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Enforce Y policies and guidelines for the basketball court, walking/running track, weight room, circuit room, teen center, and/or computer lab, in a courteous manner.
- Verify all members and participants using the facility.
- Answer phone lines according to YMCA phone procedures.
- Respond to needs and questions with accurate information.
- Handle complaints in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Notify appropriate staff of any unsafe conditions, complaints, needed repairs, incidents, or accidents immediately.
- Give tours and educate members and prospective members on services, programs, events and volunteer opportunities.
- Keep gym, basketball court, walking/running track, weight room, and circuit room clean and well organized.
Qualifications
- Minimum age 18 years.
- Must have good communication skills including phone skills.
- Ability to make independent and sound decisions in a fast paced environment.
- Highly organized, detail, and goal oriented.
- Must be able to work with a diverse group of people in a friendly and consistent manner.
- Must be able to reflect a positive attitude.
