General Laborer - LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY

Job Description

We are hiring dependable General Laborers to support a project at a wastewater/biosolids treatment facility. This is a hands-on position requiring a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Perform general site cleanup and final project closeout
Sweep, shovel, remove debris, and organize work areas
Move materials, tools, and equipment
Assist the superintendent and skilled trades with basic tasks
Support punch-list and project closeout activities
Maintain a clean and safe jobsite
Work around wastewater/biosolids operations and strong odors

Requirements

Construction background REQUIRED
Previous general labor or industrial experience
Comfortable with heavy lifting and physically demanding work
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet throughout the shift
Strong team player with a dependable work ethic
Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
Able to follow safety instructions and wear required PPE
Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
Bilingual Spanish/English preferred
OSHA 10 preferred, but not required
Must be local to Columbus, GA
