JOB REQUIREMENTS

Board: BC/BE in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Licenses: Active VA License, Active DEA with VA address
DEA / CDS: Active DEA required
Certifications: ACLS
Experience: Minimum 2 years of current clinical experience
Other Qualifications: Case logs and CME documentation for past 2 years required

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide comprehensive hospitalist medicine services including admissions, discharges, and daily rounding.
Manage acute and chronic medical conditions in an inpatient setting.
Coordinate care with specialists, nursing staff, and ancillary services.
Perform procedures as delineated on the Delineation of Privileges form.
Document patient encounters accurately and timely in Cerner EMR.
