Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical Accountant for our Lancaster, SC facility. You will bridge the gap between finance, senior management, and production departments in a fast-paced wholesale distribution environment. This role relies heavily on extracting, analyzing, and maintaining financial records using our advanced core software systems.

Key Responsibilities
· __
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, variances, and forecasts utilizing ** SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks. **
- ** Production & Cost Accounting: ** Collaborate directly with production managers to track manufacturing costs, analyze production efficiency, and ensure accurate inventory valuation within the ERP system.
- ** System Optimization: ** Oversee the integrity of financial data, troubleshoot system ledger issues, and help optimize financial modules within SAP/Oracle or streamline operations in QuickBooks.
- ** Cross-Functional Strategy: ** Partner with senior management to translate system-generated financial data into actionable insights for business growth and cost-saving.
- ** General Accounting: ** Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ledger maintenance, and reconciliations (A/P, A/R, and inventory tracking).
** Qualifications & Requirements **
- ** Education: ** Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- ** Experience: ** Minimum of 5 years of progressive corporate accounting experience, ideally in a fast-paced wholesale distribution, supply chain, or manufacturing setting.
- ** Software Expertise: ** Advanced, hands-on proficiency in mid-to-enterprise level software platforms (specifically SAP/ERP, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, or QuickBooks Enterprise.
- ** Technical Skills: ** Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, data modeling) and its integration with ERP software.
- ** Communication: ** Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively translate technical software data to non-finance executives and department heads.
