Registered Nurse – PACU - Day shift – Relocation Candidates Welcome

Location: Lancaster, OH Duration: 8 Weeks Specialty: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Nurse Shift Time: Days – 9:00 AM–5:30 PM Guaranteed Hours: 24 Hours/Week

We are seeking an experienced PACU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong patient assessment skills and the ability to monitor patients closely during the immediate recovery period.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor patients’ vital signs and recovery following anesthesia.

• Assess patients for post-anesthesia complications and promptly respond to changes in condition.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

• Manage pain, nausea, and other post-operative symptoms.

• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and the healthcare team to ensure safe patient recovery.

• Provide post-operative education and support to patients and families.

✅ Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of PACU/RN experience .

• Current ACLS certification .

• Current BLS/BCLS certification .

• Strong clinical assessment, critical-thinking, and communication skills.

• Ability to work the assigned day shift.
