Qualified candidates bring a combination of school-based and healthcare-focused SLP experience, with strong skills supporting pediatric populations. Those with clinical fellow experience (CFY) or SLP-CCC credentials are welcomed, alongside applicants comfortable working with a variety of student needs and abilities.

Qualifications:

• Valid Washington SLP License and current teaching certification
• Experience in schools, including SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY backgrounds
• Familiarity with K-12 caseloads, pediatric speech therapy, and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Commitment to supporting diverse learners and adapting to evolving student needs

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech-language and hearing screenings and assessments for K-12 students
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
• Document progress, maintain records, and participate in eligibility or IEP meetings
• Provide both direct and consultative services, adapting interventions to fit student and school needs
