California Licensed - Clinical Supervisor Meridian Counseling is a growing group practice dedicated to integrating mental health into everyday health and wellness routines. We serve the Westside of Los Angeles and are seeking a licensed mental health professional to join our team as a Clinical Supervisor. Job Description Title: Clinical Supervisor Position Overview: The Clinical Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing and guiding supervisees within Meridian Counseling. This position involves providing clinical supervision, ensuring high quality client care, supporting professional development, and managing a supervisory team. Responsibilities Clinical Supervision: Provide regular triadic supervision to AMFT, ACSW, and APCC staff. Monitor and evaluate clinical work while offering guidance, feedback, and support. Promote collaboration and a growth-oriented mindset. Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and evidence-based interventions. Oversee the management of client cases, ensuring effective treatment planning, appropriate interventions, and coordination of care. Request case presentations and/or video recordings to ensure adherence to clinical protocols, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements. Staff Management: Encourage employee development, measurement, and accountability, while highlighting achievements. Coach to achieve successful results and enhance employee satisfaction. Recognize skill gaps and offer training to improve performance and professional development. Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback to support supervisees’ growth and development. With the support of HR, address employee relations and performance issues promptly and implement corrective actions as needed. Quality Assurance: Establish and maintain quality assurance measures to evaluate the effectiveness and outcomes of clinical services. Conduct regular audits of clinical documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with organizational standards. Address and resolve any issues related to the quality of client care. Foster a positive and collaborative supervisory team culture through effective communication and interpersonal skills. Collaborate with other departments such as administration and intake to ensure seamless service delivery. Ethical Standards and Compliance: Ensure that supervisees adhere to ethical standards, confidentiality requirements, and legal regulations. Stay informed about changes in relevant laws and regulations affecting clinical practice. Address any compliance issues promptly in collaboration with leadership and HR, including harassment, bullying, and other discriminatory behavior. Supervisory Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of supervision sessions, including progress notes and performance evaluations. Prepare reports for organizational leadership as needed. Maintain performance documentation, including recognition and corrective action documentation in partnership with HR. With HR support, prepare corrective action plans when needed to reinforce expectations. Qualifications Master’s degree or PhD/PsyD in psychology, social work, or counseling. Clinical licensure (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, PhD, PsyD) required. Proven experience in clinical supervision within a healthcare or mental health setting. Strong knowledge of clinical best practices, treatment modalities, and regulatory requirements. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Prior experience leading and managing employees and teams preferred. The pay range for this role is: $68 - $108 per hour (U.S.) #J-18808-Ljbffr
